Filipe Costa is a co-founder and Managing Partner at NewHarbour. Prior to founding the company in 2023, Filipe was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse leading the coverage of technology, financial services, education and healthcare companies in Brazil. He joined Credit Suisse in 2015, where he led execution and origination of M&A, capital raising, and equity and debt capital markets transactions.
Before joining Credit Suisse, Filipe spent four years at Morgan Stanley’s investment banking team in Brazil.
He began his career at global restructuring firm Alvarez & Marsal, in Brazil and the United States, where he spent four years working with companies and creditors in large restructuring, reorganization, crisis management and M&A projects, including Lehman Brothers Chapter 11, at their headquarters, in New York.
Filipe has a degree in Economics from Insper.
Diego Pinheiro is a co-founder and Managing Partner at NewHarbour. Before founding NewHarbour, Diego spent six years at Credit Suisse, in his latest role as a Vice President in the investment banking team, covering technology, financial services, education and healthcare companies in Brazil.
Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Diego spent four years at BR Partners where he specialized in the structuring of debt and securitization products.
Diego graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of Sao Paulo and earned his CFA Charterholder in 2017.
André Valêncio is a partner at NewHarbour. André joined NewHarbour in 2023, after spending two years as an analyst at Credit Suisse’s investment banking division, working on M&A and ECM transactions. Previously, he worked in the Equity Research team at BTG Pactual.
André holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (POLI-USP).
Rodrigo Guedes is a partner at NewHarbour. Prior to joining the firm in 2023, Rodrigo was an investment banking analyst at Credit Suisse in Brazil.
Previously, he worked at G5 Partners executing M&A and capital raising transactions.
Rodrigo holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).
